Get a bigger size than you think and then get riding! I’ve now used these shorts for a couple of 25-30 miles rides and they’ve served me well. Before, if I would try a longer ride like this with just normal shorts and underwear, I’d come home with a rash and sore. Waist size was baggy, everything else was way too small. I ordered the largest size they offered. Waist was huge but legs were tight. I was expecting the waist to be huge. The waist per inch is much larger than the legs in relevance to the waist. You would have thought that the legs would have been large and baggy as well. Good shorts I am a solid 38″ waste and the XL size fit very well. Like the pockets and weight. I usually ride with baggies where the liner is sewn in. The liner and pad are heavier than what i have had but the cushioning was great.
