These work for me! I love these shorts. Do NOT order bigger. These fit me just fine. I am 5 ft 8 165 with muscular thighs and these are perfect. I am wearing them just as shorts, not underwear. They may double as undershorts when it gets a bit colder and I want to wear longer tights. So far, so good. I hand washed them in cold water with free and clear detergent and they did bleed some color, so make sure you wash them separately. Hang dry. Not really underwear I thought these shorts would fit more like slightly longer boy shorts panties since they were advertised as underwear. However, they went pretty far down my thigh. Probably half way to my knee and Im 5’7 so not particularly short. Im usually a size 18 pants size and ordered a 3xl which fit pretty well. I couldn’t really tell much of a difference as far as the padding goes. Still not a very comfy bike ride.
