Extra Thick Padding — WELL MADE I’m really impressed with the padding on these shorts. With my other pair of bike shorts, the padding is thinner overall. The pads that protect your pelvis bone, are very thick indeed. So when you’re sitting on a hard saddle for hours at a time, you wont bruise your pelvis. Also, the thinner part of the padding is wider on these “underwear” shorts, than you’ll find on other bike shorts. So you wont get bruised or sore from the edges of your bike saddle either. Finally Found What I Was Looking For These shorts look really stupid in the photo because they are turned wrong side out and the padding looks like a baboon’s bottom. Don’t be fooled! When you wear them the right way the padding is not obvious, and certainly does not give that diaper look under stretch bike pants. They provide great padding and protection for the various body parts in contact with the bike seat. . The fit was as expected, but they have enough stretch that pinpoint accuracy is not required for a decent fit.
