The gel padded touring short is designed for the touring cyclist who is always in need of two important things: comfort during long days in the saddle and a little extra storage space. The shorts are padded with a core of cushy, forgiving gel pockets at the sit bones that are surrounded by thick layers of foam padding. Designed for long-lasting comfort, the pad provides support all day while you’re in the saddle. The convenient side pockets give you the ability to keep everything that you frequently need right at your fingertips. For example, you can easily pull out your map for quick, on-the-bike references about your next turn, changes in terrain, and upcoming landmarks and convenience store locations. They’re also a great place to stash small snacks and nutrition supplements as well as anything that you may need to get to in a hurry. Reflective tabs and logos provide additional visibility while you’re out on the road, especially on those days when you get an early start to beat the heat or get in a couple of extra miles at the start of a long day.

They are comfortable, do not bunch up, wick moisture well, and preserve your more sensitive parts very well. They dry relatively quickly, important when touring.

Great fit, Great Padding, Great Pockets. Fantastic riding shorts. Great padding; I have used them for all day rides up to 75 miles. No chafing or irritation. Best feature are the side pockets. Large enough for waterbottles, cellphones, keys, wallets, etc. Very useful, and not irritating to ride with stuff in pockets. I have 2 pair in yellow, and 1 in black. The yellow is bright and distictive, and matches some jerseys and gloves made by the same Aerotech Company. Oldest pair is 4 years old, not showing any unexpected signs of…
