My go-to brand and line (Quest) of cycling shorts and jerseys. This is my 6th pair of Quest shorts. While the “Quest” line of Pearl Izumi cycling clothes is considered their entry level (lowest price) offering, I consider it head and shoulders above other low-to-mid end cycling clothing companies like Canari. I have owned and tried on numerous brands and I personal like the fabric and fit of Pearl Izumi best. The chamois isn’t the best design, Quest might be a better choice The Escape Quest is a confusing product line. The Pearl Izumi website doesn’t have the Escape Quest at the moment, just the Elite Escape or the Quest. But this Escape Quest is the Select line, meaning the fabric material is the lowest tier that is great for everyday use but not necessarily hot weather or competition.
