A Corollary to Sturgeon’s Law While Sturgeon’s Law states that 90% of everything is crud, the Corporate Entropy Corollary theorizes that 90% of all manufactured goods TEND TOWARD crud. As time goes by and companies have wrung every efficiency they can from the manufacturing process, they eventually have to choose between increasing the price and risk losing business, or cutting back on quality and hope nobody notices.

Comfortable Shorts for Big Guys I’m a casual bike rider. I don’t ride a lot due to all of the stuff I do but enjoy getting out on occasion. So when I take a long ride I need my shorts and seat to work in conjunction to provide me with comfort. The last five years I rode in bicycle tours. Good shorts at a reasonable price These are my preferred bike shorts — good quality at a not-crazy price. I have about 7 pairs, enough to ride every day and do laundry once a week. I’ve worn out two pairs of these, but they were about 5 years old, and had probably been worn and washed a couple hundred times, which seems like a reasonable lifespan.
