Bad pad placement They’re somewhat comfortable on the hoods, but there’s no support at the bottom of the palm when riding on the straights. Because it’s missing pad in the middle of the lower palm, all the pressure hits the outside edge of my hands and turns my wrists in. The only way to avoid this is if I slide the bars up further in my hands to hit the pads, but that puts more weight on my wrists.

Very unforgiving gel pads After two longer rides with these gloves, I really hope the gel pads soften up. The gloves seem well-made, and they breathe very well, but the gel pads are so firm that it feels like I’m riding with rocks between my hands on the handlebars. I will update my review as they break in…

I really like these gloves I really like these gloves. I originally got the Large because my hand width was right on the border between large and XL. I sent back the large because they felt constricting. Interestingly, the XL still feel a little tight. In their defense, I really don’t like anything tight. I buy everything 1-2 sizes larger than you might expect. However, it is telling that it is still difficult to get the gloves off because they really clasp around the wrist and especially the thumb is tight, just under…
