Good, not great For the cost, I would look at Performance brand shorts from Performance-dot-com. Well made, looks great, feels great. Just not sure on the bang for the buck. I have both the Performance Ultra (generic brand) and this, both are great. One is ~$30 and the other is $60. Relatively the same, but I had to order a Large on the Performance Ultra while I fit into a Medium of the Pearl Izumi Elite short. I am a 35 waist.

Fits Well and Comfortable I’m 6’5″ 200 with a 33-34″ waist. I ordered a large and these fit very well. I typically ride 20-50 miles on each outing. The build quality on these is good. In terms of comfort I don’t have any issues. I will say I also have a pair of the model down Peral Izumi Attack bike shorts and they feel about the same.

Comfy, breathable, stellar padding. Comfy as heck, broke them in on a 300 mile tour and given the poor quality seat I had, my muscles would not have made it without them. Good job Pearl Izumi. Never had any heat issues, didn’t ride past November with them on though.
