I’m 5′ 0″ (compared 3 Pearl Izumi models) After going to several bike shops in town and trying on women’s shorts that were always too big and baggie for me (I’m 5’0”, 118 lbs with a 31” waist around belly button..got some inches to loose!) I decided to get some shorts from Amazon that I could not find/try at the store, per REI salesman recommendation I went with Pearl Izumi. I bought all models mentioned below in size Medium due to my waist size. All models come with Velcro on the inside to adjust the waist, on pictures I’m attaching,…

Nice shorts, a little baggy for folks on the slimmer end in xs I’m glad that the waist has adjustable Velcro straps on the inside. They are a little baggy in the hip for my tastes. The size I purchased was xs. I am guessing that if you are a bit muscular these won’t be baggy for you. I’m returning to cycling so I am not worried. The best part is that the back is high, so no crack!

Will show off your thighs… I love that these are so breathable. They seem to be a good length to not ride up. The combination of the thin shorts and the mesh chamois liner will show off bigger thighs, so beware. I like both the shorts and the chamois liner, just not together. I’ll be keeping them to mix and match with other biking gear that I already own.
