Disappointed…not worth the cost! I wore these shorts for the first time today on a 40 mile ride. I absolutely LOVE the fabric-thin, stays in place and no annoying seams that can cause cycling shorts to look (even more) unflattering. Fit was perfect-I’m 5’0, 111 lbs. and ordered a size small. I am quite disappointed in the chamois-I’ve always wore Pearl Izumi Elite and was so happy with comfort on long rides so I thought I’d step it up and order the Pro. When I was just 20 miles in, it was clear these weren’t nearly the quality…

Jorder says:

Meh These fit a little smaller than all other Pearl shorts. The leg length seems shorter than stated. The material is not what I was expecting either, thinner, silkier. Padding seems okay, though truthfully, I haven’t ridden them yet due to fit. They also don’t have the standard women’s waistband, which is part of why I love Pearl Izumi. I ordered a medium as I have noticed that most of my ride shorts are getting too big. Compared to other mediums from Pearl (pro in-r-cool), these are smaller.

Brad Smith says:

I like that these shorts breathe despite heat and humidity These shorts are the real deal, probably the nicest shorts I’ve ever purchased. The pad is not too bulky, and does not tend to bunch up during my rides. I like that these shorts breathe despite heat and humidity, and the silicone grippers aren’t too tight.
