He bikes for exercise (not competitively) and he was on the fence about using padded underwear. Great for wearing underneath other athletic wear or everyday clothing This is a great pair of padded shorts to wear under another pair of athletic shorts when going on a short ride. Feel awkward, but do the job Not sure if i should say somewhat small, or somewhat large… But either way, these shorts are UNDERwear, NOT outerwear. The legs are very short, and the waist is very high. The bottom of the legs were about 2 inches below my crotch, and the waist was above my belly button. They felt great to ride in and cushioned pretty well, but felt very awkward to walk in for me. I’m not one of those guys who wears a “tour de france” get up while riding, just a t shirt and shorts. So these work…
